Parker Toyota is committed to providing our guests with the most accurate and up to date information that we are receiving from Toyota. I think that it is important to note that the condition stated in the recall is extremely rare and generally does not occur suddenly. According to Toyota, the problem seems to occur most often when the pedal mechanism becomes worn, and under certain humidity and temperature conditions, the accelerator pedal may become harder to depress, slower to return, or, in the worst case, stick in a partially depressed position.

Camry - 2007-2010 models with VINs that begin with "4T" that have CTS accelerator pedals
Corolla - 2009-2010 models with VINs that begin with "1NX" or "2T1"
Highlander - 2010 models with VINs beginning with "5TD"
Matrix - All 2009-2010 models
RAV4 - 2009-2010 models with VINs beginning with "2T3"
Sequoia - All 2008-2010 models
Tundra - All 2007-2010 models
Venza – All 2009 – 2010 models
